Hey! So….there have been a fair number of leaks about Winterfell and Petyr this season, so my opinion on what should happen counts a lot less now that I know what does. I definitely think Baelish would try to turn any perceived power vacuum to his advantage, particularly if it has the additional benefit of further ingratiating himself with Sansa. I don’t want to say much more than that because the leaker who posted about the Northern storyline has had other leaks proven true by the first two eps and I don’t want to unintentionally spoil!
